About Work:
I grew up in Berkeley CA, and have lived in and around the Bay Area my entire life. In 2003, after a career in the natural foods industry, I took a temporary position in the Art Department at Pixar Animation Studios working on Pete Docter's "UP". Fifteen years later I am proud to have worked my way through several projects learning the ropes of cgi production, people management, and Art. As an experienced manager of creatives I understand the important balance of organization, quality, and flexibility within the production environment. I believe production is always a team effort, and that the backbone of success is rooted in strong relationships and sound process. Most of all, its supposed to be fun.
About Travel:
Over the years I've traveled as much as possible and have spent time living abroad in Costa Rica, Mexico and Indonesia. My desire to discover has taken me across the United States and the oceans in search of new experiences. My travels are close to my heart and I consider them part of my life's education and understanding of people in the world.
About Living:
Growing up in the Bay Area I was influenced at a young age by good food, wine and social gatherings. Since then cooking has always been a favorite pastime as it connects me to the ones I love and grounds me after a hectic work-week. I am fascinated by fermentation, and regularly bake, brew and ferment my own foods.
As a kid I was fortunate to have attended summer camp, and during those times developed an appreciation for the outdoors. I thoroughly enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, and the occasional surf.
I currently live in Bozeman with my wife, Stephanie, and my two wonderful kids, Ellis and Wynnona.
