Legal Clearance App - 'OK-Legal'
The clearance app, OK Legal, was developed by myself and a small team of engineers at Pixar. The goal was to drastically improve the antiquated process of film clearances and improve communication between film production and the legal department. The system leverages image-based databases to display artwork and digital models over a secure network which is reviewed and cleared by the studio's legal council. All transactions are tracked and searchable and eliminate the need for printed material or the use of email. The implementation of OK Legal greatly improves accuracy, speed and efficiency in fast-paced production environments. The system was adopted by all feature films within the studio.
